Forever Free Counseling, Inc. offers Quick Start counseling sessions, 4-week seminars, 2-4 week homebuyers and credit counseling classes/seminars, and training through audio and video. Forever Free is confident that we will prepare clients for successful home ownership and the importance of increasing sustainable home ownership.

Pre-Purchase Home Ownership Class
Participants will learn about preparing financially, searching for the right lender, navigating the mortgage process, or looking for savings. We will help the consumers in the area of understanding home inspections and the appraisal process, which will allow them to meet a licensed home inspector, who will touch on the importance of a home inspection and why it should be done prior to closing as well as, what to look for in a home inspection and the various types of mortgages and predatory lending.

The licensed appraiser will explain the process that helps them determine the value of the property, any conditions and use of the property. The appraiser will also educate the participant on the five components (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and roof) of the home that determine whether the house is marketable.

Pre-Foreclosure Intervention Class
Upon completion, clients will understand the options available to assist them in avoiding foreclosure and the need to keep constant communication with the lender. The class also includes a written Action Plan.

Credit Class
This class covers a variety of topics from Understanding Your Credit, reading and understanding the credit report, inquiries, judgments, and collections. Participants will learn how to identify credit issues, credit abuse and the steps to establish a payment plan to pay off bad debt and to develop a plan that will help them improve their credit score.

Money Management Class
This class will educate participants on using net income versus gross income, the importance of keeping good records, and the importance of savings and developing financial assets.
